Ian Rose - Fight Master
Ian has arranged fights for commercials, for film and on stage, and has been arranging fights in the New York and Philadelphia areas for over twenty-five years. One of only two in the world to be counted a Fight Master in two professional fight direction organizations, a Fight Master with Fight Directors Canada and The Society of American Fight Directors.
Ian's work has been seen at the Riverside Shakespeare and Interborough Repertory Theatre in New York, The Whole Theatre in New Jersey, the Bridewell Theatre in London, and MTM Studios in Rome. Closer to home, Ian has worked at The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, The Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival, the Philadelphia Theatre Company and Novel Stages in Pennsylvania. Ian has had the honour to have taught at seven Canadian National Workshops, and is one of the coordinators of the Philadelphia Stage Combat Workshop. Ian most recently was a Technical Advisor on the film A Winter’s Tale. He continues to study and be fascinated by Shotokan Karate, where he currently holds a black belt, 3rd Degree.
Ian is an adjunct professor at Temple University.

Michael J. Anderson - Certified Teacher

With the utmost concern for safety and respect, Anderson has spent decades dissecting the broad skills and exploring the subtle nuances that breathe passion into dramaturgy. Anderson constructs his action on a strong anatomical analysis of both the human body and the body of work of the theatre, building a conversation of movement that expresses to an audience the visceral actions that emerge when words fail. Jay Burckhardt - Certified Teacher
Jay Burckhardt is a Certified Teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors, a Stunt Coordinator and Fight Arranger for film, and owner of JKChoreography, a stunt/Fight company based out of Chicago, and Owner of The Fight Factory- Stunt training, Stage Combat and Movement education. Coordinator for numerous award-winning independent films, Jay has worked with Columbia College Chicago, Depaul University , University of Illinois Chicago, Wayne State University as well as the Independent Film Board of Chicago.
Missy Styles - Certified Teacher
Certified Teacher Missy Styles is intimidating until you get to know her...then she's really intimidating. How many flaming redheads who are into professional wrestling, DnD, and roller derby do you know?

D.C. Wright - Certified Teacher
SAFD Certified Teacher and Dueling Arts International Master Teacher, D.C. Wright has been directing fights and teaching stage combat to others for over nineteen years. Recent professional credits include Treasure Island, To Kill a Mockingbird, Henry V, Hamlet, Les Miserables, Moonlight and Magnolias, Of Mice and Men, and Romeo and Juliet at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, and Romeo and Juliet, Complete Works of Shakespeare abr., Titus Andronicus, Taming of the Shrew, Macbeth, Henry VIII, and Twelfth Night at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, as well as the Off-Broadway production of The Blowin of Baile Gall at the Donaghy Theatre in the Irish Arts Center.
D.C. has taught combat classes at institutions around the country including Brigham Young University, University of Utah, Boston University, Emerson College, Ball State University, Western Illinois University, Colorado College, and Dixie College, as well as at several local, regional, and national workshops including the SAFD’s NSCW, Winter Wonderland, Rumble in the Rockies, Boston Tea Party, Las Vegas Winter Workshop, and the Central Illinois Stage Combat Workshop. D.C. holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Boston University’s School of Theater Arts Professional Theatre Training Program, and a BA in Theatre from Brigham Young University.

Mike Yahn - Certified Teacher
Mike Yahn is a Certified Teacher through the Society of American Fight Directors, a partner in Combat Incorporated, and a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. His fight choreography has been seen at Second Stage Theatre, Playwrights Horizons Theatre, Theater for a New Audience, the New York Film Academy, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York University, NYC Fringe Festival, the New England Shakespeare Festival, Close Combat Instructional Videos, and the Pirates of the Caribbean toy commercials. He has worked as Fight Master J. David Brimmer’s assistant both on and off Broadway in such productions as Spring Awakening the Musical, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Bug, and Speed the Plow. He is also a national instructor of Wing Tsun (Wing Chun) kung fu under the City WingTsun banner, traveling from Hong Kong to Budapest studying the art. He currently works professionally as a stunt performer and fight director in both New Orleans and NYC, shuttling himself between the North and the South. Recent films include: the Host, Hunger Games 2: Catching Fire, the Amazing Spiderman 2, and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes as well as T.V. episodes of Revolution and White Collar.
